Should we be enforcing the common forum rules on dev/random? I'm sure you guys have seen the recent postings regarding those otherwise prohibited topics.

 

I'm inclined to play it safe, pull the trigger, and lock those topics down, but I just want to consult with the more veteran staff here before we establish a course of action.

I've never even gone in that section; never went into the 'Spam and Rage' section on aIW either.

Well I normally like to make my rounds, so to speak, so I pretty much visit all the forum sections with the exception of GBH2 and the regional subforums (since I only speak English and Im just too lazy to Google translate lol)

Well back on aIW the S&R zone (aka /dev/urandom) was the black zone. Most rules didn't apply there. But before enforcing a rule such as the "aIW-revived topics" I'd rather ask NTA the initial purpose of such rule.
