Hi,

The title says all..

 

When I start 4D1 and make a private match i can't change a map to a bonus map... When i hover over the 'Bonus maps' the game crashes. Also when i start a private match the loading screen works but in-game it crashes within seconds (when not a bonus map ofc.)

I seem not to be able to change the resolution, changing the resolution will also result in a game crash.

With a game crash I need to ctrl + alt + del and task manager to close the game, alt + tab does and then run taskmgr does not work.

 

So let me put this all together.

I can't change resolution (so I'm stuck at 1024x768 while my native resolution is 1360x768)

I can't join any game.

I can't make a private match.

I can go through the menus but NOT the Bonus maps option in the Private match menu.

So technically, for me it works like shit.

 

BTW my pc is:

AMD Phenom II x4 965 @3.8Ghz

Kingston HyperX 1333 DDR3 memory (4GB)

Sapphire HD6850 950/1111

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (64-bit)

I downloaded the entire game from a torrent site (kat.ph) because TPB is blocked in my country.

I downloaded the 4D1 from http://fourdeltaone.net/

I'm gonna try the link provided by you now.. i'll post when/if it will/won't work.

 

EDIT:

Nope doesn't work... In the config_mp.cfg file it tells me the resolution is 1360x768, which is my native res. Only in game it says it is 1024x768.. You can truly see the difference. But that's not my main problem. My main problem is that the game cannot be played in any way. (BTW my DirectX drivers and my AMD Drivers are fully updated (DirectX 11.? and Catalyst 12.4)

 

EDIT 2:

Ok the resolution is working fine now 1360x786 but the game can still not be started. also when i want to apply settings from the video settings screen, when i click apply, the game freezes and stops working.

I literally have the EXACT same problem, besides the fact that I can normally play on dedi's, just not private matches.
