I read your tutorial man, no, unless you did a large type-o in there, it's not working.

I've hosted before on AiW, and i've been hosting servers for like 6 years now.

I saw a referance to a "server key" in your topic by some other git, figured that was why the server kept crashing.

Yes, the server crashed, as in does not start.

Description:
 Stopped working

Problem signature:
 Problem Event Name:	APPCRASH
 Application Name:	iw4mp.exe
 Application Version:	0.0.0.0
 Application Timestamp:	4c9f8c01
 Fault Module Name:	KERNELBASE.dll
 Fault Module Version:	6.1.7601.17651
 Fault Module Timestamp:	4e211319
 Exception Code:	e0434f4d
 Exception Offset:	0000b9bc
 OS Version:	6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4

I used steam files, downloaded server updater, added commands tried to start, got "that" as a response.

*Bump*

Anyone? As since it's launching another file, in firedaemon it just keeps spamming servers if you set it up as a service.

Rename iw4m.dat to iw4m.exe and run that.

I ran the same files as you all said. The LaunchIW4M.exe and it still doesn't show up on the server list even with the -dedicated command. Any reason why this isn't working?

I tried that already, renaming file to .exe file. Gave me a *.dll error or something.

We're talking about the *.dat file in /appdata/local/IW4M/ right? And not the one found in root folder of installation?
