Singleplayer w/ all Weapons

Is there anyway to add in all weapons for Singleplayer levels?

 

With my limited knowledge of what things are/ mean (may be completely incorrect), wouldn't you need to 'PreCache' each weapon for them to exist?

 

Wouldn't it take some various/ extensive .FF editing?

 

Also could someone drop me a link for a fresh airport.ff? I kinda fucked mine up and accidentally fucked up my backup as well, I was not paying attention to which airport.ff I was editing...

Why are you even editing fast files? Mapname/_fx/_art/_fog.gsc, visions and minimap could be loaded through the m2demo-folder.

For initial "porting" a map you only need to extract the files written above + the entities.

To extract the entities you could start your game with the "--dump"-flag and start the map in devmap or follow this tutorial:

This and for using SP weapons in the MP, just edit your DLL and write a mod/edit the m40a3 mod to use it. Note that you have to use the SP maps, that includes the weapon file, as dependency map.

I don't think he wants to use SP guns on MP, just allow for all the guns from MP and the game files into his SP game

And what is the whole fd1 client about? Experiencing the MP gameplay on SP maps too not?

So using a MP map as dependency map as usual already achieves what he wants.

But it seems like he has no clue, what he's doing there..

Editing fastfiles and shit...

I am confused, but I was just asking on how I could make some simple personal mod for the campaign adding in all the weapons from multiplayer, seeing as each level contains a very limited number of weapons that you can give youself...

Vital rules:

 

Don't touch fastfiles.

Don't touch fastfiles through code if you do not understand the code.

 

Was going to refer to that.

 

Anyway... don't see how MW2 SP is all that fun. Steam MW2 SP actually allows in-game cheats such as timescale, if you look into the config.cfg. You could try binding "give all" to some key.
