Can I get VAC banned?

Hi folks, just installed 4D1, I specified another directory of the MW2 files (not in the steamapps/common) folder and started it afterwards. I noticed that the Steam overlay went up and that Steam showed the "In game Modern Warfare 2" on the status.

 

I quit the game (not joined any server) and closed Steam, then started 4d1 again. My question is, can this trigger a VAC ban? I hope not, I think not, but is it intended to show up like the real MW2?

No. it is in the FAQ, which is written by a very competent person.

You can be 100% sure that this will not trigger any sort of VAC bans or any similar issues.
