Pls tell me how to use flash drive for saving game in ps2 by means of any virtual memory card software or anything as such , my ps2 model no scph 77007!!!

AFAIK you can't use those as PS2 virtual cards.

very much probably you can't.If you want so bad,get memory card from somewhere,and transfer save files from it to your flash drive - that's what i do when i wanna a 100% save or whatever

 

btw:I'm not even sure if monster-pc's can even run every ps2 game in emulator at stable 60 fps.I had a lot of problems with few games,but dbz:iw ran fine.

these guys don't know shit about ps2 soft modding yes you can do this.

First you will need a memory card with free mcboot installed or a way to run elf files like swapmagic (google it ).

now on the the actual hard part:

 

Making the vmc

1. dump everything in that archive into your USB STICK

 

2. load up ulauch elf from a booter like swapmagic or free mcboot

 

3. from the ulaunchelf menu select MASS (which is your usb stick), now select the

"bin" folder, now select Hd_Gui.elf

 

4. now your inside the program. select "MC TOOLS", now select "MC CREATOR". select

either a 8mb memory size, which is standard or a 16mb. Next "VMC PORT: 0" means

the memory card is for slot 1. set the next option to OFF.

 

EXAMPLE:

 

VMC SETTINGS

 

VMC SIZE: 8 MB

VMC PORT: 0

STORE VMC PATH: OFF

DESTINATION FILE

 

START CREATION

 

 

5. select option "DESTINATION FILE", now select "mass:/" (thats your usb stick), select the "bin" folder, now press START on your ps2 controller. (if you set the wrong path, press START, then press the TRIANGLE on your ps2 controller to go back) Now select "START CREATION".

 

6 connect your USB stick to your computer. browse to the "bin" folder, and copy your "memorycard0" file to your computer. NOW, DELETE everything on your usb stick. now put the "memorycard0.bin" back in your USB STICK.

 

7. YOU NOW HAVE A VIRTUAL MEMORY CARD = VMC.

 

Using the vmc

Now this might get confusing with swapmagic so i will explaining it broadly for any both method .

1. Put the HD_Gui 1.81.elf (I am making you re download this because the other one was better for making the card and this one is better for using it ) in your pen drive with your memorycard0.bin

 

2. load up ulauch elf from a booter like swapmagic or free mcboot

 

3. from the ulaunchelf menu select MASS (which is your usb stick), now select Hd_Gui.elf

 

4. now your inside the program. select "MC TOOLS" , now select "MC emulator" and it should start whatever disk you have in the drive with the pen drive as your memory card .

 

5. If you use swapmagic just play it like you just inserted swapmagic normally and go from there .

If you use freemcboot and the ESR same ting just go about like you would inserting a normal ESR disk in your playstation.

If you use OPL 0.7 or below same thing as the above but you might have some issues with some games and the vmc might be super slow while saving .

If you use OPL 0.8 or newer (none have came out at time of writing ) you are going to have a bad time because OPL 0.8 has native support for VMC but the set up is different and I don't know how to do it in 0.8 .

might be worth mentioning it will be slow as hell as the ps2 usb ports are 1.1 but it will get the job done, games like gow and such will take about 4 or 5 minutes to create the save file for the first time
