Hello again!

 

I have B3 set up properly, and have uploaded the webfront for XLRstats to my web host under a subdomain.

I can access the set up fine but have one small issue.

 

The game and B3 (and mysql and supporting files) are all on a dedicated machine here at home. On the install page, it asks for the hostname of the mysql database. Since XLRstats and the sql db are on seperate hosts, I can't use localhost, and using the ip address does not appear to work.

 

Can anyone skilled with XLRstats offer a helping hand? Would really appreciate it!

did you forward the port for the SQL databases?

I don't know if there are any ports but there might be

Apparently I need to set up the mysql user to be able to use the web ip??

 

Ok - figures this one out - just needed a mysql user that can connect to the db from the website.

 

Now to figure out wth the damn B3 status.xml file is.............grrrrrrrrrr
