He's a member of a portuguese clan. That "MW2 LAN installer" is something that I made for LAN parties ONLY. It allows people to install/verify the whole MW2 and 4D1 files. But it only works on LAN parties, when the local caches are available. When they get home, it downloads updates from 4D1, but only after installing the game and getting the right cfg. Someone gave him that without knowing what it is.

As I said above, that's made for LAN parties only.

So, use the official updater from 4D1.
