Hello, everyone. Me and my friend was going to play some zombies in private match earlier. The problem is, we cannot connect to eachother.

We were using hamachi, wich have been working with my other friends before but not with him.. If HE connects to ME, we can get in to the lobby. While I can join the game and start playing he gets stuck on the loadingscreen "setting up game...". And I cannot connect to him at all. Note also that we've tried without the mod too, with no success.

So you are using the AI zombies mod i presume? Better yet, try using hamachi, and just make a dedicated server with a password, and then let him connect to that server. Servers deal a lot better with mods then Private matched do, so I would try that.

I did try without the mod, with no success. Also, when using a server does this mean I have to portforword?

Not neccasarily... If you guys are both on hamachi you all should be on the same port.

He must have the mod file too, he cannot "Download it" by joining you, you have to directly send him the file through Skype or Mediafire or something, then he has to put it in his mods folder.

add z_svr_ in front of the modname (z_svr_zombie.iwd);

or

change the extension to .rar, extract it, and delete the .iwd/.rar

You do know that they even tried without the mod ? Don't go all tl;dr next time.

Fuck hamachi; just open 28960 in your router and it should work fine with your actual IP.
