My friend and I are using the Steam version MW2. This error happens after about 15 minutes of gameplay. We tried logging off Steam but it did not help. Hope someone from the tech team can analyze the file and find out what's wrong. Thanks.

since you are using iw4m.exe to launch the game you do not have latest client files.

 

Please always use LaunchIW4M.exe, it will check for updates on every game startup, you can remove that old iw4m.exe

 

LaunchIW4M.exe should be located in your startmenu as "Play IW4M" shortcut if you used automatics installer.

 

"Play IW4M" is exactly what I click on.

Took it's time, but got you in the corner! hehe

 

Anyway, I went there though teamviewer and tried to fix his problem. He had some missing/mismatching fastfiles. Let's hope it's working now.

 

EDIT:

seems it didn't fix... but atleast now all the files hashes are matching, wich means that there's no damaged or missing files. Something is forcing the application to close...

EDIT2:

Finally fixed! After debugging the dump file, NTAuthority found the cause for the crashes. We lowered the game's texture quality a bit and got no more crashes from that point on.
