[Help] Dedicated Server hostin on a Linux root Server

Featured Replies

Опубликовано:
how i set up a dedicated server on a Linux server?

You'll need wine to install steam

Then you would install MW2 from steam

Don't forget to install the DirectX packages

It's been ages since I've done a Linux set up, but I know how to do it

Install wine first then install steam then mw2 from steam

Then let me know how you get on

but i mean on a root server

i only can connect to the server with putty(SSH)

Wine won't be a problem to install and installing steam from there might not be a problem

But a CLI install of MW2 through steam might be difficult

I personally can't help you past what I've already said as I don't use CLI Linux, only GUI

Maybe if you post a topic here someone might be able to help

Sorry

You already have a topic on this.. why you need another one???...
