I've just set-up a server to play with friends. I'd love if you guys could point me up:

 

* A list of mostly used console commands for admins;

* A easy-administration plug-in, with ingame menus allowing admins to kick/ban, change gametype, map OR command-line via say;

* A plugin for high-ping kicking;

* A few, nice mods for trying different playstyles (I used to love the Roll the Dice mod, does it still works?);

 

I've noticed a couple strange situations: 1. I've set-up a softcore server, when my playlist re-cycled, game's went hardcore. 2. If i start a server on GG, SS or another special gametype, people can't join (game says their ping is too high). How come?

1. Warn, ban, perma-ban, maprestart, etc.

2. B3 (bigbrotherbot) does that.

3. You can set that in the server.cfg afaik

4. That's up to your personal taste.

Make sure the following part of your server.cfg is commented out.

 

// uncomment below commands for hardcore
   //set g_hardcore "1"
   //set ui_hud_hardcore "1"
   //set scr_hardcore "1"
   //set scr_player_maxhealth "30"
   //set scr_team_fftype "1" // 1 = on, 2 = reflect, 3 = shared
   //set scr_player_healthregentime "0"

 

Then check your map rotation to see if the maps are typed in correctly, otherwise some can reply themselves, and sometimes with random gametypes.
