We would like to boost the XP on our server as some others have. Can this be done with out running a mod? If so, how? Any help would be appreciated.

 

 

I figured it out.

This will let you set the XP:

 

scr_xpscale "X"

 

Note scr_xpscale "4" is the max value (400XP per kill).

yeah that is the problem, at servers do have boosted XP, where can we play now when we want to level up normally?

 

I don't get this whole XP rush thing. I think it ruins the game mechanics. I just want to play it the way it's meant to be played, enjoying the path as much as the finish line. Prestige and achievements pretty much mean nothing nowadays. :?

XP boost is useless. Whoever wants to level up fast, just uses EAM.

"scr_" + gametypesuffix + "_score_" + eventype whateverxpboosthere.

 

edit:

the format above will let you higher up your servers xp per kill plus if you set scr_xpscale to 1 maximum of 4. then it will multiply to it. This is a crazy dvar since you can have a 99999999 limit for boosting xp. which means you can finish a challenge by just one kill which is going to be crazy. and that's why I did not make the format clear to anyone. only modders can understand it.
