So I recently made a dedicated server and almost everything is working out fine. I am using Zmod by ChesseFakku and it works but in the server list it shows the server is playing TDM and not something like "zombies". I see a few other servers with the exact same mod but their game type at the server selection list says "zombies". How do I make my server gametype say zombies? I have searched in my server config and the mod files and couldnt find anything. This is also a weird mod because the mod only provides a folder named "maps" and to make the server work I had to replace the original "maps" folder with the one that is the mod.

 

p.s. Is 50mbit/s download and 7mbit/s upload a good speed for hosting a server while playing on it?

Create a new folder and name it the way you want your gametype to be called. Put the 'maps' folder from your mod in there. Then start the server with the parameter

 

+set fs_game x

 

where x is the name of you folder.

 

edit: You may have to put the folder you created in another folder called 'mods' and start the server with

 

+set fs_game mods/x
