i just updated the nvidia drivers and now i get this black bars in each side of the screen in mw2

anyone knows how to fix this? i searched it here, didn't find any topic about it :?

That's indeed your monitor. Check and see if your monitor has an auto adjust button or option in it's menu.

but i never had this before, btw the black bars are gone if i use the max resolution

This happens when your resolution is not 1:1 (the ratio of width/height is not the same) to the selected resolution of the game.

it's a laptop, if i play on the max resolution i get massive fps drop

can't change it either, it's stuck on 60hz

Ive had this before. It has to do with something in your nvidia program settings. (Right click desktop> nvidia properties ) Or something like that.

i managed to fix it, something on the nvidia settings was forcing the display not be fullscreen
