First off, I wanna say thank you to all the people who built and maintain this project. I love how a team of dedicated gamers can do what the fucktards at Activision can't.
So I built up a server for my friends and I, and I really wanted to get other people online to play with us, so I opened it up to the 'net, forwarded TCP/UDP to the port my dedicated server was on, took down the machines firewall, fired up the dedicated server, and.. nothin
So I figure, "Okay, Windows is shitty anyway, I should really host on Linux where I can install Apache and run the stats logging server all the same" So I build up the server on a Linux VM, attach the network interface to a bridge, set the IP, forward TCP/UDP to that VM, fire up the server, and.. nothing
And throughout all of this, we can play just fine locally on the server by using ~connect
I even nMap'd my IP server's address from my work computer, I can see that port 28960 is open!!!
Seriously, what am I doing wrong?
EDIT: And before anyone says check your filters, we all did silly
