as the subject says,.... Icant change my 4d1 resolutions always when i select mine and press accept i get a blackscreen and dircX error appear.

A better idea is that you could go to the console (as in the one which runs in a different window) and type r_mode zxy (where z and y are your dimensions) and it will change your settings on the next startup and therefore avoiding the crash.

 

If that doesn't work, go to your config_m2.cfg in the "players" folder, search for the line "r_mode" and change the resolution in front of it to the desired one. Then set the "config_m2.cfg as a read only file.
