Was absolutely gutted about the closure of alterIWnet, and I thought it'd be the end of an era for us. Till then I had to play the abomination that they call MW3, with matchmaking and it was awful. I'm glad that I can come back to MW2 with ranked dedicated servers etc. Imported my old stats back in, and we're ready to go. Peace all.

ive downloaded the launch component, installed and dropped it in my mw2 forlder, making sure that the specified folders were not plresent, and it wont run. anyone who can help, possibly add me on steam?
