Hi all amazing FourDeltaOne members. I know this question has come up before. But many people respond differently. Is it really true that I must have Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3 on Steam and then be able to play on FourDeltaOne's servers. Or that's fine if you have it downloaded from thepiratebay or similar? I have both versions of the game but still want to be sure and get a real answer.

I have both versions of the game but still want to be sure and get a real answer.

If you have both versions why the heck are you asking it?

IW5M comes with a Steam check, which means it will check to see if you own it. If you use any bypass, you're probably violating an EULA, however NTA can not be liable for what you do to your own computer.

Just buy the game. You can own a PC that runs MW3. I am pretty sure you can buy MW3.

You can always buy the game...or wait for someone to release a bypass ._.

Question: Do I need MW3 on Steam?

Answer: Yes but there are simple ways to bypass it.
