4D1 is legitimate and activision proof since it uses steam authentication and requires that u bought the game...

 

It might not be legal.. Now, i don't know too much about the copyright law, but re-doing, changing or permanently modding the game can't be legal.. But 4D1 is fair for Activision, they really don't have any reason to shut this down, if they're so focused on their money.

modding communities have been around way before cod and activision .Lock at cs , look at half life , look at starcraft.this is legal and if it is rely just a mod they can't do squat
