Basically, I bought myself a new mouse (Logitech G500) and I'm trying to setup all of my programs with custom buttons etc. What you have to do for that is to add a .EXE to the program and then you can configure everything. I added the .exe that you use to launch MW2, however, I noticed that in the task manager the program running is actually a .dat file. Is there anyway I could set this up? The exe is an updater than launches the dat after updating. Updates ensure you have the latests features and less bugs. Just map some button to "launchIW4M.exe" and you're done.

You should set the button to "LaunchIW4M.exe" so that it can run the game.

what do you mean custom buttons my 7 button mouse can be used with the game with no troubles i just go to the config menu and press the button in the config's

What kind of mouse do you have though? I figured it out anyway, so it's alright. I just have to go into the Logitech software and change to profile to gaming mode. For some reason it doesn't detect MW2 online or W@W online. It works fine with the singleplayer though. Hmm. I think that I'll just write a program so when I launch either game it will change the profile on my mouse for my DPI settings and other buttons.
