hi all

many ppl have my problem i guess

i have all files of 4d1 and all dlc and latest mw3 steam files but when i try to connect to server it stay around 2 min connecting then server connection timed out.

(i already played 4d1 alpha and worked fine)

pls who can help answer us and pls no trolling replys

I have the same problem with Windows 7 x64...

 

"dw" folder created, dlcs n stuff downloaded, "launchiw5m.exe" launched...

 

Deleting the caches.xml didn't help.

 

I think i'll just try the waiting thingy :/

Put the launchiw5m.exe file and the .dll to your mw3 folder.

You may also try deleting caches.xml (The inHuman)

I have the exactly same problem, however in the night when there was few players online, i got a chance to play but that was it.

 

You will just have to wait til it gets sorted out.

In order to play you have to use your forum's login data. Is it possible they have blocked the new accounts on purpose? They could say so if they did , to at leastmake us stop searching for a solution!

I have another account from the Mw2 days, it has the same problem on my Mw3. It's nothing to do with the age of the accounts.

delete iw5m.dat and cache.xml then copy a fresh LaunchIW5m.exe and the dll from the client.zip ..

the iw5m.dat will download again.

After that...turn off xfire.

my server also not connecting,,,its connect before 8 hours...but now its not connecting..just showing me CONNECTING ONLINE than after 2 min...giving error...wtf

The servers are probably unstable, you do know we just released this to alot of people ?

 

Try re-updating your game by deletig caches.xml and running LaunchIW5M.exe as administrator, or try restarting your game. If that doesn't work then wait.

Well then if all other stuff fails, that is your only option.
