Hello everyone

I have 2 problems and im in need of some help.

1st problem - I have a dedicated server, its online and my ports are opened, but people can only join with the ip, the server does not appear on the server list.

Any help?

 

2nd Problem - If i want to change the gametype to sd I type on the console " set g_gametype sd "

The console says gametype will change upon reset.

I Don't know what is the command to reset the server...

I tried to turn it off and on again but it didn't work

Try refreshing the list a few times. Are you absolutely sure it doesnt show up for anyone?

 

You can restart the map with map_restart

Be sure to open the udp and tcp port, you can check it with some kind of port checker tool, google will find one and use fast_restart its faster than map_restart

I can now change the gametype.

And i just saw the the ports are closed, its pretty much impossible to open them on my Modem.

I just though they where open cause my friends could join, apparently not.

But its strange that my friends can join perfectly but the ports are closed.
