So i wanted to install a few scripts found in the mods section of this forum. after doing so i ran my dedi and when i tried to connect to my server it got stuck at "Connecting..."

 

Then i removed the script loading of the mods i used and i still get the same error when i try to connect to the servers. help :X

 

Edit: Tried deleting scripts folder, running dsut.exe and starting, doesnt work.

Care to read alot of the topics here ? Anyways it's a bug/glitch/feature/error that alot of people are having. It will be fixed sooner or later.

I deleted my dedi server, installed a new steam version, applied everything and still the same thing. Incase anyone is going to try that, dont. its a waste of time.

2. I get this error: Connecting to online services....

Here are some possible causes:

a. Your ports aren't open

b. You launched the server with incorrect parameters

c. The master server is offline

d. You haven't created a .dsx file in your IW5 folder, restart and try again.

 

Check the shortcut parameters and the config files. Maybe you messed up with some command while trying to launch a script? Some script call command leftover on cfg or dsr ?
