I am not into the habit of posting random thoughts, philosophies or anything of the sorts. But felt like sharing this with everyone here.

 

Four of my old school mates were riding back home, after vacations from an uphill town while the driver lost control of the car and it collided with a truck. The accident was so severe that the whole thing went in flames instantly. Three of them died on-spot, and the other's still in hospital in ICU...

 

My dad always tells me, better arrive late than never. But every now and then one tends to forget and try to imitate what those mofos at F&F kind of movies try to teach our youth. Maybe we're just lucky that we get to see these surreal warnings.

Drive slowly and safely, and always wear those seatbelts - for your own protection, not for the cops.

It's not the people that drive safely and good, it's the morons on the road. Drunk drivers, people trying to show off their cars with speed. Here's one thing: Life will be a lot quicker if you spin the car out of control. So why even go to those speeds?

Thing is we don't have drunk drivers in here (though drug use may be found in rare cases), but still manage to nearly top the charts on no. of accidents per year. A variety of reasons for that, including out-of-control youth, no awareness programs of any sorts, drifting/over-speeding on the wide-ass highways/roads is too popular with everyone, and too much pocket-money to pimp their cars and then showcase to all their buddies. But those boys were not into any such thing afaik...but yea..shit happens.
