Console does not work

Hi al guys,

as the title says the console doesn't work. I was sure it wasn'ta problem until someone told me it actually works. I know people can change fov with it, I know they can use the "disconnect" comand and all. Well for me it doesn't work. I open the console, I write the command but it does nothing.

How can I fix this?
