Yeh, so i installed mw3, and i was trying to launch it with LaunchIW5M.exe then the picture shows up and console but after that "Error during initialization:

Your current Steam account does not own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Please purchase the game, try another Steam account or make a folder called 'dw'."

Well either buy the game, or do what the last part of the error says. Start it up again, then read what it says. It's censored here.

Just read the error and focus on the LAST part. It says what you need to do.

Well idk what to say but, make sure you did all the steps correctly and pay attention to the error message just to make sure or check your steam account.

Seems the retard protection works flawlessly.
