August 27, 201213 yr comment_80687 The only explanation for that would be that your windows system file cache is messed up. One of the biggest problems of windows 7 x64 is that it has the system file cache set to unlimited, wich means that it can keep loading stuff, regardless that you have a physical memory limit. When it reaches the limit (8Gb on your case) it starts to lag (I discovered this accidentally while conducting some experiments at a LAN party, then I googled about it). Everything so far would be normal, except that the game that you're playing isn't supposed to load much more than 1Gb into memory. That's why I say that somethig on your operating system is messed up and it keeps loading stuff over and over again. Reinstalling your operating system is the only solution I know. Report
