I did not turn to another program, the problem is that when I run no games, I'm a 2G/8G and when I run, it goes a little small to use up my 8G and my computer lag.

The only explanation for that would be that your windows system file cache is messed up.

One of the biggest problems of windows 7 x64 is that it has the system file cache set to unlimited, wich means that it can keep loading stuff, regardless that you have a physical memory limit.

When it reaches the limit (8Gb on your case) it starts to lag (I discovered this accidentally while conducting some experiments at a LAN party, then I googled about it).

Everything so far would be normal, except that the game that you're playing isn't supposed to load much more than 1Gb into memory. That's why I say that somethig on your operating system is messed up and it keeps loading stuff over and over again.

Reinstalling your operating system is the only solution I know.
