hello

when I run lunchiw5m.exe for update (?) nothing happen. I've tried it by running as admin or even running in "safe mode with networking" . what should I do?

delete Caches.xml

where is it? there is no cache.* or *.xml in the folder of game. (I've searched these)

There's no caches.xml because the updater is crashing and doesn't get to create that file.

If it stops without any error message, I assume it's your anti-virus that's blocking it. Either disable that anti-virus or unninstall it and use a better one.

I don't have any antivirus. and also however I disabled my firewall but I've added lunchiw5m.exe to it's exeptions list.

If it's not an anti-virus blocking the application, then there must be a crash message. What does it say?

no messege. when I open windows task manager on processes tab after openning lunchiw5m.exe it is shown on that tab but after few second nothing.

first I download packes their names were like this : "4D1 IW5M DLC ..... " . then I extracted and moved them to zone/DLC . (in DLC folder I have two folder dlc and main,right?)

then I extracted packs their names were like this: "Backup iw_25,27.part... " . I extracted them in the main folder. then I put terminal map files in the zone/DLC/dlc . after that I put lunchiw5m.exe and a dll file in the game's folder and ran it for update. everythings right?

Everything right.

But what you describe me of the executable appearing on the task manager for a few seconds and then disappear without an error is a symptom of anti-virus blocking...

Anything else would popup and error message.

If you say that you don't have any anti-virus installed, then what could be preventing the executable from running?

There is an antivirus on my computer but it isn't installed on my current windows.

Can't I download the updates manually?

If you have Win7, they are already installed. If its XP or anything below that, and you don't know if you did, you haven't.

You can find them on Microsoft website, go there and install them.

I've done all of this before and i do 'em now again. still problem!!!!

If you say that you don't have any anti-virus installed and an application closes at launch without any error message, consider reinstalling your operating system.

But before considering reinstall your operating system, If the game was running before without any problems, consider doing a system restore.

I installed .net framework 4 and 4 extended but while installing .net framework 3 an error said I must change sth on "turn windows feature on or off" . but what?

I turned off .netframework 3.5 on that program. nothing changed!!! after turning on that again an error occured. whats wrong?

Yes!!They're in the folder game!!

It sounds like Dep might be on. Follow the instructions to turn it off for launchmw3.exe
