I run 9 servers on a dedicated server box at a different location, and was wondering what kind of anti-virus/internet security software people run? Right now I am using AVG.

The box is running on Windows 7 64 bit.

You can use any anti virus software but I reccomend NOD32 and I recommend as well to stop using AVG since it's one of the worst anti virus software.

AVG is not the worst, but it is not good either. NOD32 is good (the only antivirus I have ever recommended), but it is starting to become a resource hog though. compared to what it used to be. Microsoft offers their free security essentials that seems to work well, but it cant be turned off and it likes to pick and choose what it wants to delete without telling you. If you are just running a server and not using it for anything else other than that (not even internet browsing), you shouldnt really need it. My headless server has been without antivirus for years and I have never had a problem.

AVG is good enough don't touch it, it's don't need to be changed in my opinion.

I would definently NOT recomend Norton as it is expensive as shit and gives you a ton of false positives.

Since its just a server, AVG should be fine.
