well as a subject...i am playing a server with 160 ping...and my game get little laggy kind of...

when i playing a server with 360 ping my game working smooth...lol

 

 

thats why i can't understand pingssss....

It has to do with the server and your connection to it.

You probably have some packet loss on the 160ms server, so it screws up your position sometimes. It could also be running on someone's home PC, and lags whenever he alt+tabs or does something else on his system.

 

Then in the 360ms server, you could have a stable connection with little to no packet loss. So it more easily keeps track of where you are. The problem in that situation is that it screws up the anti-lag calculations and gives people a lot of WTF moments with bendy bullets and "I shot him 20 times and he wouldn't die" stuff.

I doubt his upload speed is the problem. A full host on the Steam version only uploads about 60KB/s, so he would have to have terrible speeds for that to be the problem.

 

I think it's more likely he's running the server on his home PC, and joining his own server on the same machine to play.

well if i get 160 ping so thats mean server is from india...and i know he definatly hosting from home pc....
