Steam - Unnecassary files

Hey 4D1!

 

I've got my copy of MW2 from Steam and I want it to fit my 8gb usb drive. (I remembered my last version (from alteriwnet) was about 7 gb). So, which files I should delte?

    The only thing you can delete is "main\video" and "Redist" folders, and a couple of small files on the root folder of the game installation. Everything else is now used by IW4M.

    "main\video" is about 2,08GB (and that' about all that you can cut out)

    Anyway, unless the pen drive is usb 3.0, it might be a bad idea to try to run the game from a pen drive... you might get a lot of "server is for low ping players only" error messages because of the time taken to load a map.

    Okay, now we have to afford a 16gb usb drive ;) But it's not a that great problem, since we can't play without accounts on lan.
