There is no way to use Vidock through USB 2.0 the available bandwith (480mbps)is not enough however USB 3.0 might be enough for low to mid range gfx cards but pci-e is not capable with USB. It offers a bandwith of 2.5gbps the same as Expressport. You just need to get a Mini PCIe cable when you buy a ViDock. The last alternative is the Thunderbolt Connector providing you with 10gbps ( double of USB 3.0) but you probably dont have that cause its only on Mac and high-end Z77 motherboards.
