There MUST be a way of running a Server WITHOUT actually having the game? so ur telling me Company's who host servers have to download the game to Run a server lol ? There must be a way to do it..

I no that.. Im on about running a SERVER not the game.

So my friend is trying to host a server for me, but its saying he needs steam MW2 for the Dedicated server tool or something, is there a way to Run the server without steam? i dont think he actually has MW2 either he just wants to run the Server for me , is this possible? -Ginge

Everytime I try to watch back my demos i get the error "Lost connection to host" .. I even opened a demofix for the sake of it.. and THAT WORKED? But any other demo's dont? ive tried the Demofix then the demo way even tho i know you dont have to. and i have just tried it normally.. but everytime.. "Lost connection to host" anyone know the fix?
