When I install the server and its updates, once I run it my PC slows to a crawl. I have a core i7 970 Hexacore with 25 Gigs of ram so its not my pc thats the problem. When i go back to an earlier revision of the dedicated server everything works fine. What could be the problem, or where could I start to diagnose it? I've ran a server before at alterIW with no issues. I'm baffled as to what could be the issue. I've lready tried reinstalling everything and the same happens. Thanks in advance. Edit : my parameters are as follows: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Modern Warfare 2 - SERVER\iw4m.exe" -dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server.cfg +map mp_rust +map_rotate
