You can delete my post. But I don't want myself misunderstood. I'm not talking about players using noob weapons, but overall competitability. They are too easy to kill. So there is no fun there. And my statement was based on my experience with Chinese players.
Those non-steam/pirate gamers are mostly newbie players, who ruin the overall playability of the game and I can never get the same excitement when playing on steam. So is there a way to keep those non-steam players away from my server?

But will multiple servers using the same log file mess up the server log?
My cod4 servers use ultrastats to parse the logs and display players' stats on a web page. Is it able to parse iw4m server logs? If yes, I think it's better to have separate logs for different servers.
I have several CoD4 servers, which are run from one single installation, using commands fs_homepath and fs_basepath. I'm wondering whether it is still working in IW4M. If not, is there any other way to achieve this?
Just set up a dedicated server. Now can anyone please tell me how to show welcome messages, say, every xx minutes? I used pb_sv_task to do this job on my cod4 servers.
Edit: And is it possible to run multiple server instances on one installation? My box is running out of space.
