I tried two things WindowsSe7en quoted, and when I was doing the last thing I noticed something: These wont guarantee anything.... If you try it and fail then you've wasted your time. these are POSSIBLE FIXES for CERTAIN PEOPLE... If those don't work its the libnp.dll file. This shouldn't have anything to do with steam, unless your stupid enough to try and run the game w/o steam... When I was checking the .dll and the .iwd file to change them over to read only, I noticed that in the properties box right next to the section where you can tick the read only box, there was another button that I had never seen before that said "Unblock" and had a description stating to the effect that the file could be blocked due to it being from another computer. I decided to unblock all of the files and switch them to read only and sure enough, I was able to launch the game without a problem. I can say if it was the read only thing or the unblocking thing, but nothing else helped me except that. Also, my OS is Windows 7. Can't say for sure if that dialogue is in the property boxes for Vista or XP.

Btw, he is prolly saying that the punishment is worse than jail and more than a civil lawsuit. But hey, what do I know... it is only math.

Hi. Free2shred00. Not sure if I ever posted on the original AIWnet forums, but I had been playing the mod for a little less than a year when a certain money-grubbing POS company shut it down. I have owned a legitimate Steam copy since launch. I am looking forward to this mod because IWnet sucks an insane amount of things I wouldn't like to type right now. I bought MW3 legitimately as well because it was going to have dedicated servers. That game is not only horrible, but the servers were implemented as if they were a joke. I have logged 10 hours on that game before I left due to poor map design, asinine players and IWnet. I will never do another Call of Duty game again because of the quality issues in the recent entries in the series. That is why I want this mod to flourish so I can get my moneys worth from MW3 =/ One question that I doubt will get answered: Will there be a way to swap my stats over from AIWnet back to either the main game or the mod? I copied my Steam stats over to AIWnet so I wouldn't have to start over and managed a lot of progress. I would hate to see that disappear. -Free2
