You might also have to copy the game folder, and the launcher might ask for the game folder the first time it starts. Game folder or IW4M folder doesn't matter; neither should m2demo or players. Finally. Thanks alot NTAuthority. Anyway NTAuthority, if I were to host it on some other machines, Will I only need the folder iw4m to be copied to the other machine and run launchiw4m.exe -dedicated? And also my last question, where do I place my config file for the server.cfg? Should it be placed under %localappdata%\iw4m\m2demo? Thanks again mate

As I don't have legit version of Modern Warfare 2 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2). Follow the guide mentioned above, just use whatever location your 4D1 installation is on instead of the one used in the tutorial. Thanks for your reply. So which directory I should use, A or B ?. Im kindda confuse, which one is the 4D1 installation, Is it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Modern Warfare 2 or C:\Users\Razer\AppData\Local\IW4M Thanks mate

Hi members, Anyone mind to give me a dedicated server files for 4D1? I tried aIW dedicated server but obviously it wont work. I even tried SKIDROW rip version of mw2 to make a dedicated server but fail too. I appreciate if anyone could hand me the dedicated server files or tutorial where to download/set it up. I tried to use this tutorial here http://fourdeltaone.net/viewtopic.php?t=3698 but the problem is I dont have a legit version of MW2,therefore I could not get the files from steam folder.I'm hosting this dedicated server just for the good of community of 4D1.
