i did, but i was VAC banned, so i found this and installed it, my steam account was hacked, the person must have used hacks, as i didn't get to use my account for 3 weeks, when i returned, i was VAC banned from all servers and games. EDIT: deleting caches.xml did not work, still the same error.

Alright, i'm bumping because i really wanna play again, so if anyone can help, please do, i really want to play again...

Well when i downloaded the mw2 from the internet, it already had 4D1 installed, so all i did is download the updater, updated it, and played for a few hours, when i restarted MW2, this came up, and i havent been abl to fix it, and i dont have a backup, and i would rather not re-download another game. note: Im running the iw4m.exe file

When i start mw2 i get to the menu then this happens and it doesnt go away :S Any help on fixing this, without replacing cod mw2 files, as i downloaded it and didnt make a backup?

It's ok, i found out the version, it is currently at 1.0.159

No i mean, what is the GAME version at, no the version of 4D1, i mean what version is the game at, in terms of activison versions?

What game version is mw2 at for 4D1 so far, just to know?
