Check your console and see if you get an error message. If you do get one take a screenshot of it. Makes it easier to identify the actual problem

Used to play MW2 competitive back in the day, when the game still was big. Back then the competitive scene wasn't that big and nothing compared to what it is in CoD4, but don't know how it is now. Anyway, I would be interested in a team, so feel free to hit me up on Steam

Same thing happened to me yesterday, and I just reinstalled the game and that did it for me.

Thought I had fixed this problem, but it keeps happening. I replaced the files with the newer ones from r20, but didn't do anything. Whenever I try to join a server it keeps fetching playlists and then nothing happens. If I try to edit my classes, check up on challenges I get "Disconnected from Steam". Seems very odd to me, since I was able to play the game yesterday. I get this message in console:

I just replaced the files iw4m.dll, iw4m, libnp.dll and the raw.iwd and that did it for me.
