A little confused So, is it me or "some" of the servers' setup? @ Sora3100: I don't have any iw4mp.cfg or iw4mp.ini files in the installation folder or its subfolders. Is it located there? Here is the list of all the files located in the installation folder and its subfolders: http://pastebin.com/vTFhbiye

  4. Hi everone! I didn't want to download the whole skidrow version of mw2 and wanted to keep only the files that were necessary for multiplayer. So first I used the Alteriw installation files from torrent. Then, since I got problems I deleted the whole folder and copy pasted mw2 steam multiplayer folder and installed 4d1 over it. It works, but I get that strange error message while playing. Console: The remote name could not be resolved: 'alteriw.net' I checked to see if something older remained from alteriw but couldn't find anything. So, does anyone know what this error is and if it was a problem? Thanks. Btw also thanks to those who contributed to 4d1.
