So, it was a no biggie? Maybe it might be that the installer does require a reboot in some situations, but not always. I guess it was aha. Yeah, on aIW happened the same, when updating, so I just rebooted or log off my session. I've tried rebooting several times, still no luck.

But it's every single time I run it. Where did you download your MW2 folder? And you are using iw4m.exe or launchiw4m.exe to run it right? I'm using aIW files, I reinstalled it yesterday, patched it, (when I run IW4M it tells me to update) and now I cannot run LaunchIW4M to update it.
