I'm sure the reason Activision gave a damn about AlterIW was because of the choice to modify their latest, record breaking titles, Black Ops and MW3, is it really smart to go about the same path without the fear of Activision breathing down your neck, regardless of it being legal or not? Correct me if I'm wrong, this is just how I see it.

Is there a way for to run the server in terminal (linux centos6) instead of wine having to draw the GUI, IE all text goes to terminal instead? WINE doesn't appear to be efficient enough to handle it, if I leave the window minimized for awhile then bring it back up it takes like 30 seconds for the text to catch up and show properly.

Basically what the title says, I think there should be some server status icons somewhere implemented into the home page and forum pages, it would be very useful for moments like this. Something like http://4d1.jeremych.com, however, it doesn't appear to be noticing the server is down at the moment, which sounds like it's still successfully pinging.
