Hello, can you help me with some insight on lag issues? I get a 100 ping in blackpulse server most of the time, but when I use a gun such as the acr I get so many hitmarkers ( it seems like 10 , and yet I die so easily even though I'm already shooting them) Like my shots are on target but they are not registering.

 

I know its a bit over my head but it must be something in the game.

 

Are there commands for lag issues ? I know of one which is cl_maxpackets 100 but I don't know if it does anything.

 

I'm not talking about the commands to turn off special effects. I don't want to be labled as a hacker such as didyouknowIpwn seems to think I am because I turn of the fog to improve my fps.

 

So if you can help me with some remote console commands for lag then I would be grateful.

Because of the way anti-lag works in this game, everything goes screwy when someone in the server has a high ping. So people who aren't used to seeing weird crap like people tanking entire magazines of AR rounds or some people killing in "one hit" starting seeing that stuff.

 

There's really nothing you can do on your end to make it much better. Just kick the people over ~250ms and it cuts down on the problem.

quite sure standard antilag algorithms only affect the shooting player's relation to possible targets, and only regarding positioning of those - registration delays still apply
