Is it good? Or is it bad?

 

In my opinion it's bad. Wanna know why? EA already stated the game won't have Single Player. C&C was always about the Singleplayer. The story. (Not to mention the sexy ladies in RA2) If there is no Singleplayer mode then that means there won't be a World Builder. No World Builder means no Custom maps. There is also the possibility of the game not having a mod support. Since it's using the Frostbite 2 engine, the chances of this game having zero mod support is even HIGHER! What were EA thinking when they make this bullshit decision? Did Bobby Kotick sneaked through EA and inject them with cash venom or something?

 

I've been a fan of this game since Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun. It made me really sad to see the series, ever since Tiberium Twilight to go downhill. Fuck me.

 

Edit: Whoops, ranted without thinking. There will be Singleplayer Campaign but after the launch. Plus, the story is community driven or so they said. Still wondering how that will work out. But for now, I would definitely rant on the possibility on the lack of mod support.

 

Extra: There will be DLCs ._. I think that could be a bad thing.

It was one of the best series out there, Tiberium twilight was so gay that I just finished it for the heck of it rather than actually enjoying it. I always loved Zero hour and Generals though, but this one is looking bad. I don't play multiplayer even though I own the legit copy of Zero Hour (actually I got destroyed so badly the first five games that I ran back to the SP) I doubt I'll ever play this.

I think it's BS, it needs to be singleplayer only, and make it a retail game, not a free-to-play! I think EA are ruining games, they were fine when BC2 came out, and then ever since, its like they dont even care with games -.-

Most of the people don't care about mod support, they just want more maps(DLC).So they will pay for them.

Obviously 9 out of 10 people are IQ < 60. Free to play is just a motivation.

 

Every new game is not worth the money because new games sacrifise mod support to get better graphics.

mod support > nice graphcs

I have the C&C: The First Decade collection, and NONE of the games that came after Generals that are good. NONE. AT ALL. Having all of the good 'n' ol' C&C games I don't need a new one, even though it's free.

 

RENEGADE 2 PLS. Yes, I'm one out of a million that thinks Renegade is the best C&C game.

i think alot will like it because it is f2p, i still play the old ra2 and yr, generals, zero hour and C&CTibwars from decade which is so awesome i still have it all. hopefully someday we can get alot of players back to playing like 2004

DLC? That's even worse, so you can't make mods, create new maps? Only get them from the developers? They need money? If mod-support exists, then why DLC?

Frostbite 2? I can't imagine how the gameplay would be...

Then what about LAN support, I never played C&C generals online, so if LAN is not supported I will defenately leave this game and stick to the normal Generals/Zero Hour.

Honestly, EA ruined Generals by this. Hopefully they change the game features before release. I really enjoyed C&C Generals 1 palying it with friends and Skirmish.

I miss CNC. The series stopped from the Release of Generals Zero Hour, still playing it today.

The Single Player MIGHT be available later, maybe as a DLC, still not the thing the fans want.
