Okay, so I opened the game and everything went out good. (Was crying out for joy). Then suddenly, when I join a game, my crosshairs is gone. I turn off all mods and even all filters in servers. I made sure I was in a normal server, but still no crosshairs. I looked everywhere in the video settings, but nothing. Then I watched a tutorial. So I did this.

 

I went to Players in MW2.rar

 

Opened up config_mp.cfg and I opened it with notepad. I go around and see that it already says ui_drawCrosshairs 1, so I exited out and I found out it CHANGED it to notepad, how do I change it back? ;(

The picture was like white with the windows logo in it. How do I change it back, PLEASE somebody help me'

2. You also need cg_drawcrosshair 1

It just opens automaticly with notepad now I guess, not sure why you want to change it 'back'. It's not like it's suddenly a .txt or something.

You don't. It's useless anyway.

You just associated an application with .cfg extension. Now whenever you want to edit a .cfg, it will open with notepad. It won't have any influence on the game.

Plus, yes, it should be config_m2.cfg, unless you're using some old crap...

Also... iw4.rar??? You're supposed to extract that, you know...
