Okay so I installed Modern warfare3 its normal but when i play for like 10 or 15 min game just crash "IW5M has stopped working" What to do?? please help!!

 

Another problem is that in playing at random time my mouse behaves in Modern warfare3 like it gets unplugged and plugged again for 1 sec,so i just walk like i got no mouse that didnt happen to me in modern warfare2 can someone help me with theese? Please!!! :?

Moved to IW5M, also I think that your mouse problem is unrelated to the game.

Open your config_mp and replace seta r_autopriority "1" with seta r_autopriority "0"

 

And turn off Fraps/Mumble/anything else with an overlay if possible.

 

That's for your mouse issues. Can't help you with the other thing. GrossKopf has something like that happening, and none of us have been able to figure out the solution.

Your description doesn't make any sense. LaunchIW5M.exe shouldn't even be running after the game launches.

Looking at that... if you want my sincere advice, reinstall windows.

Game just freezes for second and then it comes up "IW5M.dat has stopped working" I typed wrong :/

Then it sounds to me like your drivers are crashing and then being recovered (mouse stops when the usb drivers go down and iw5m.dat crashes when the graphic drivers go down)

Try reinstalling your motherboard's chipset driver (just as a last attempt, although I think that with such issues, you'll eventually have to reinstall windows)

I have been playing MW3 for a while but on teknogods, now, I just downloaded IW5M and run it, it works smoothly, but all my stats, unlocks and level was reseted, plus, in the teknogods servers there were no new maps, only the ones that came with the game, IW5M does support new maps, but anytime I try to join a server with a new map an error comes up. The only thing in the error text is the name of the map (when the server starts loading the new game there is no picture of the map either, and then the error comes up and the game freezes and I have to use ctrl+alt+del).

 

I searched the forums for an answer but found nothing, the one thing that was close was something about deleting the file "caches.xml" and re run the Launcher, but that didn't work.

 

Can anybody help me?

Anyway, here you got your answers...

The stats do reset, as IW5M uses it's own stats. Also, level hacking in IW5M is not allowed.

About the maps, you need to get the DLCs (don't ask us how to get them because we don't support piracy, and the only thing we can tell you is to buy them on Steam store).

If you have any further questions, please search the forum to see if it has been answered already. If not, open a topic about it.

For the mouse problem, set your mouse's polling rate to 125 Hz.
