Seriously, why the caps and font size.

 

You probably don't have the DLC map content or you're using a old version on MW2 (You need to own MW2 on steam and then it will download the newest MW2 version.

 

If you don't have the legit game, steps:

 

1) Buy/Own Modern Warfare 2 on Steam

2) Download the client files and place them in the MW2 folder

3) have your Steam account profile set to 'Public'

 

Done, you WILL be able to play without any problems.
