It's not that bad, its like 25mb. Thats only 15-30 seconds worth of downloading. But still separate folders is better.

Me and you know what files to replace, but most people don't. That's why things need to be made simple.

If people complaints about 120ms ping. ._.

Looked into it. It's already set to use the Nvidia gpu.

 

It doesn't matter. You have to right click the launcher, choose "Run with graphics processor" and choose your NVIDIA card if you both have a dedicated video card and an on board one.

 

By default it chooses the on board graphics even though it is set to use NVIDIA. I think it is because IW5M uses a .dat file to run the executable, it was the same situation in IW4M and IW4m1 and IW4m2 from aiw.

 

I have to open my game this way every time. Try it out.. If you get the "Hardware configuration changed" from the game, your lagging problems are over (and you quietly have to remove your foot from your mouth ).

 

BTW, I have absolutely no lag and my ping is often between 50-80...

You do know that .dat can be just about anything right. Think about it if.dat can be a text file or something similar what would this .dat be if it launches the game. Hint, .e** try renaming it, Then add it to your application.

 

Then create a shortcut on your desktop of the new iw5m.exe, Simple enough. If you don't launch the game with the renamed file it'll just create a new .dat file.

Ok. I added iw5m.exe to the nvidia application, and now I can run the game with the launcher, and iw5m.dat is run with the right gpu.. No need for extra short cuts..
